The Wheel Cafe – Best Takeout Hot Chocolate, Donuts & Scenic Views in Geelong

I had the pleasure of experiencing "The Wheel," and I must say, it is truly a remarkable adventure. One individual who stood out during my visit was Shabbar, a member of the staff. Shabbar's exceptional service and genuine kindness added to the overall positive experience. The ride on "The Wheel" was an unforgettable adventure. The sensation of being high in the air with the wheel rotating added a unique and exhilarating dimension to the experience. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The view from the top of the wheel is nothing short of spectacular. Observing Geelong from this vantage point provides a breathtaking perspective that allows you to appreciate the city in a whole new way. I want to extend my gratitude to the staff and everyone involved in making this experience possible. It was a memorable journey, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a remarkable view and adventure in Geelong.

So yesterday I went to Geelong with my family for a drive as we are from Melbourne side, went for a beautiful walk along the bay and before hitting back to Melbourne, we went to The Wheel Cafe behind that there was the Big Wheel the person was friendly and professional with a smile we took a ride on the big Fairest Wheel, with the great views of Geelong beach did a few rounds it was great and a great experience With a smiling customer service when getting off, once we got off we went to the The Wheel Cafe for Hot Jam Doughnuts and a Hot Chocolate the Girl serving me was so nice/friendly and professional great customer service a kind that puts a smile on your face and the Jam Doughnuts were so fresh, done on the spot and the Hot Chocolate delicious they also have other food/drinks there and If you a lactose intolerant like me they do accommodate with different milks, for a small cafe they do have the stuff, love it and so tasty and to be honest I am fussy when it comes to food and hot beverages, so I must say it is a place to go when in Geelong for a pit stop you won’t be disappointed!! and it’s colourful exterior makes it even more welcoming!! Cheers!!

Lovely place close to the water … Coffee was pretty good and cheaper than many other cafes in town. Donuts were fresh and delicious… The Asian girl that served me was very polite and friendly, hopefully I’ll see her again next time. I will be definitely going back to try their twisted potatoes….

The twisted potatoes are amazing, coffee is great and donuts are always nice and fresh! Been here a few times and the staff have always been well presented with great customer service and a smile on their face. The wheel is a 10/10 recommend! Good duration and one ripper of a view. All in all a good activity to do with family or friends!

Didn’t get to try out this cafe but saw it after coming off the Ferris wheel .

staff are so nice and very attentive!! nice coffee and such delicious twisted potatoes!! Always love going here with family and friends. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! shoutout to the two girls that worked sunday tonight definitely my faves keep it up

Incredibly fresh hot donuts, that taste amazing! Good value for money. And lovely hot drinks too! Great service. Will definitely be back!

The girl working today provided really quick service and was super friendly!! Donuts were delicious and fresh, and the coffees are amazing, definitely recommend coming down for some!!
